Charlie lies a number of times in this chapter in order to get where he is going. Explain whether you think lying is okay under certain circumstances, or if it is never ok.

Well, I have to admit ... I lie. A lot. But, I don't think that lying will get you anywhere. I don't think it is a good thing to lie, But. If you had something personal, and somebody asked you about it, and you didn't want them to know. But you didn't want to tell them that you didn't want them to know, I think that in a situation like so.. It would be alright. But other than that, I don't think it's good.
I don't think that it is right to lie, but if you are under a certain circumstance I think that it would be right to lie, especially if it is a life and death situation.

As most of you have said, I agree that Charlie was justified in telling a few lies. Sometimes you need to do things that you woul not normally do in order to survive. It doesn't necessarily mean that it is good but you do what you can to get by.

I think that in Charlie's situation it would be okay to lie because if he didn't lie hey might kill him or something.
