The letter that Charlie writes is very short and simple. Write a new letter explaining more of the feelings that you think Charlie may be having right now.

I think by now, Charlie would be feeling; scared and lonely. He has basically no one to share his feelings with. He doesn't really know why he's here. He doesn't know what to do really. I think he's just scared and lonely.
This isn't part of the question. But if I was in Charlie's situation right now, I would be home sick and scared.
Dear Mother And Father, Hi. I was trying to go to the ice to go sealing, but I got on the wrong ship and now I am going to war!!! I am very sad and hungry right now. The men on this ship are treati ng me like crap! I hope that I can get home to see you very soon.

I agree that he must be scared and alone. Kim, I like that you tried to put yourslef in Charlie's situation in an attempt to understand his feelings.
