What significance do the images in Charlie’s dream have for him? Why does the image of the floating steel anchor disturb him?
Who is most to blame for the situation that Charlie now finds himself in—Clint or Charlie? What were their motives for doing what they did? Do a person’s motives change how you feel about their behavior? Explain.

I think that it was clint's fault that charlie is going to go to war. He was the one who told him too go on the boat.

I think the floating anchor disturbed him because, in his dream, they may have lowered the anchor and it might of splashed, loud, and woke him up. He may have thought it was in the house what he heard.
In Charlie's dream he dreams about Mac. The image of the steel anchor disturbs him because steel anchors are disturbing.
Clint is to blame for putting him on the wrolng ship, but he shouldn't have tried to go to the ice in the first place.
Will, I love the comment that "steel anchors are disturbing." What about them is so unsettling?
To Miss McQuaid- I just think that they look disturbing because they are very big and rusted.
