If I had met Charlie on the dock, I would have told him that he should go back to has aunt's house because if he still wanted to go on the ice when he was older he could. And besides, he could die easily if he went out now because he was very young.
I am surprised that you wouldn't have more words of caution for him Harrison. But, I guess part of being a good friend is supporting decisions even if they are not necessarily "the best".

I wouldn't know what to tell him. I would say good luck I guess. I would say have fun. Thats all I would say I think.
