Some Important Characters:

As you read there are some important characters that you should pay close attention to. You may wish to jot down some notes about these characters as you go. These characters include:
· Charlie Wilcox
· Charlie’s parents
· Davy
· Mac

Questions:
1. Who is you favorite character? Why?
2. Can you relate to any of the characters? If so, in what way(s)?
3. Who is your least favorite character? Why?
4. We learned earlier in the year that “good” characters experience some sort of change. Name one character and discuss the changes that they undergo throughout the novel.
5. In your opinion, who is the protagonist? Who or what is the antagonist?

1. My favorite character in the story was Charlie. I thought he was a super nice young boy, and I really liked his personality.
2. I don’t really think I can relate to anyone in the story…
3. My least favorite character was Charlie’s father. I just thought that he seemed like a really rude person.
4. Charlie notices change in his personality, it seems like Charlie just grew up and was more mature throughout the story in each chapter.
5. The protagonist is Charlie. The fact that he had to move with his aunt was the antagonist.

1. Charlie is my favorite character because i know about him the most.
2. No I cant not relate to any of these characters.
3. My least favorite characters are those germans that are shooting at Charlie.
4. Charlie expierenced alot of change from being in a good safe house to being in the middle of gun fire.
5. I think the protagonist is Mac in a way for taking Charlie's ticket.

3. My least favorite character is Clint because he was really mean to Charlie.

4. Charlie's mom, Lucy- The change that Lucy goes through is that she loves her son a lot more.

5. I think that Charlie is the protagonist and that the fact that he wants to go fishing is the antagonist.
