Chapter 5

Have you ever played a joke on someone? Write about what happened. Did the person feel bad about it after? Do you think it was a positive or negative experience foe those involved?

Charlie says something to Davy that he regrets. He thinks, “That’s the problem with words—once you said them you couldn’t unsay them.” Describe a time when you felt this way yourself.

Um, yes. I have played a lot of tricks on people. But one time I played a trick on my brother when he was at university; and I told him that Abbie (my dog) got hit by a car and died, and he was really sad. After I told him that I was joking; I felt SO bad. It was really mean, I made him sad and i didnt like it. :)(:

I have never played a joke on somethat that I remember that ticked them off. Sometimes if I call someone something and I would regret it if it affected them because they had a problem about what I said.

Yes, I have played a joke on some one. I took a toy away from some one when they were playing with it. I think that they got mad at me but I don't remember for sure.
I think that it was a negitive experience that the foe involved.

One time when I was arguing with one of my parents I said something really mean to them. I felt really bad after.

I played a joke on my friend when I was in university. I took all of the drawers out of her dresser and turned them upsidedown. When she opened them all of her things fell out onto the floor. She was not impressed!!!

I say things all the time and then wish I hadn't. Especially when I am angry.
